Hugo Kaldeberg
Hugo Kaldeberg (MSc. Arch) is the founder and lead architect of Kaldeberg. A cum laude TU Delft alumnus, he honed his craft at leading firms in Denmark, Belgium and the Netherlands before launching his own practice. His philosophy is rooted in the interplay of light and timeless materiality, creating residential architectures that foster a sense of deep, enduring calm.
Holistic Direction
Process From first sketch to final handover, the studio orchestrates the process. We safeguard aesthetics and budget, allowing the client to focus solely on the vision.
Sculpting Light
Light Space is defined by light. The studio designs from the inside out, meticulously studying how daylight transforms the internal structure throughout the day.
Tactile Materiality
Materials Kaldeberg works exclusively with materials that age with dignity. Raw concrete, natural stone, and untreated timber form the basis of a timeless character.
